Bay Tours provide great Half or Full day tours leaving from our hostel. we can help you arrange to join one of these tours.

Visit some of Nelson's boutique-style wineries, breweries and craftspeople.  As well as grapes, the Nelson region grows the largest hops crop in New Zealand. As a result  Nelson is home to many boutique beer brewers. These include Bays Brewery (which we are proud to serve here at the hostel) Stoke Brewery and the certified organic, Founders Brewery. Tours and tastings are offered at Bays Brewery and Stoke Brewery and can be organised at some of the other breweries too

The Nelson region is home to twenty five boutique wineries, dotted across the picturesque hills and plains of the region's wine growing country. If you want to visit them independently we have a local wine map available at reception. Many offer cellar door tastings and an opportunity to meet the personalities behind some of the region’s internationally acclaimed wines.
