Mountain Biking

There are lots of great mountain bike rides in and around Nelson. We can arrange excellent mountain bikes for you to hire, with maps, helmets and even a puncture reapir kit provided! or you can choose to take a guided trip with a local mountain bike enthusiast.

Kite Surfin'

Down on the beach you'll see that kite surfing is popular in Nelson. Tahuna Beach is one of the best places in the country to learn how to kite surf . Try a half-day. It's good fun. Wind Surfing is also an option.

Sailing

Half, full and multiple day options. Also popular is the Wednesday night racing.

Fishing

Nelson is renowned for great seafood and so why not go out on a boat and catch your own. Bring back and cook up a huge feed of scallops and oysters or one of a large variety of fish e.g. Snapper, Tarakihi, Cod, Groper, Trevally.

Paragliding

Tandem and Solo paragliding options. Great views of the Abel Tasman and Kahurangi National Parks and stunning Tasman Bay.

Hang Gliding

No experience necessary to do Tandem Hang Gliding. You may even get the opportunity to have a go at flying the glider yourself if you're keen.

Sky Diving

Jumps around 12,000ft with views over the Abel Tasman coastline and the Richmond mountain range. You can purchase videos and photos of your fall.

Vertical Limits

The Climbing Wall
Test yourself at the large indoor climbing wall complex. This is excellent value entertainment with Special prices available from Accents on the Park reception.

4 Wheel Motorbiking

Tours tailored to your ability from totally inexperienced to more challenging rides for the experienced. Ride through native bush and stop for a cuppa whilst taking in great sea views. At the end there's a chance to let lose on the rally track.
